Returns & Exchanges
Walden steel is built to be handed down, so we expect returns to be rare — but if something isn't right, you have thirty days and a simple process.

The short version
- Return or exchange within 30 days of purchase.
- Items must be unused, in the condition you received them, and in the original packaging.
- Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 7 business days.
How to start a return
Email connect@waldenbackyards.com with your order number and we’ll send you a Return Authorization Number (RAN). Please don’t ship anything back without one — a package without a RAN can’t be matched to your order.
Where to send it
Ship your return in the original packaging, with the RAN written clearly on the shipping label or the outside of the box:

Your refund
Once your return arrives and is inspected, we’ll email you that it’s in and whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7 business days.
Return shipping costs
Return shipping is on you, and original shipping costs — where paid — aren’t refundable. For anything valuable, we recommend a trackable service; we can’t refund a return that never reaches us.
Exchanges
Same window, same process — just say in your email that you’d like an exchange rather than a refund. If something arrived defective or damaged, skip the fine print: email us photos with your order number and we’ll replace it.
Gift cards
Gift cards can’t be returned or refunded.
