Walden Sure-Fire™ Starters

All-natural fire starters, hand-made in Minnesota. One lights a bonfire or fire pit in any weather and burns 10 to 15 minutes, so you can skip the kindling.

In the northern forests of Minnesota in the mid-1800s, starting a fire when you needed one was a matter of life and death. Workers there found a way to do it reliably in the cold, the snow and the wet. We still use those methods and materials to hand-make every starter.
