Fits round stone, block and paver fire pits measuring 27 to 34 inches across.
If you already built the pit and the smoke is the only thing you would change about it, this is the least expensive way to fix that. Six pieces of 16 gauge stainless, hexagonal, assembled in your pit in a few minutes with no tools and no hardware to lose.
The way it works is simple. Air enters low, warms as it climbs the wall, and feeds back into the fire higher up. Burning the smoke a second time is what makes the difference, and there is no fan or battery involved in it.
It also does something most people do not think about until it is too late. A steel liner keeps flame off the block, and direct heat on manufactured stone is what cracks the mortar and spalls the face. On most block, running an open fire against it will void the manufacturer warranty. The liner keeps that warranty intact.
